Corona is the most severe in 30 districts of the country, according to the Union Medical Health Ministry. Of these, the presence of 7 districts in AP is of further concern. The country already has a corona heavy burden of 74 lakh crore. Of these, 30 lakh crores are recovering and another 34 lakhs are receiving treatment. Already public and private hospitals are overflowing with corona patients. While the new corona is taking on a heavy burden of over four million people a day, the number of those recovering from the corona is not crossing 3 million. As a result, bed shortages and oxygen shortages are rampant in many states. The central government is importing oxygen and oxygen cylinders from various countries to meet the oxygen shortage. However, it is likely to take another three days to reach all the hospitals.
There is no oxygen supply
Nearly 2 lakh corona patients in the country are being treated with oxygen. With this, the country needs 20,000 tons of oxygen every day. However, the oxygen production in the country does not exceed 17 thousand tons. Oxygen is also being imported from Singapore, Bhutan, Bahrain and Saudi Arabia. The United States and Australia also sent oxygen and oxygen cylinders. Adding them to destinations is likely to take some time. The central government is providing oxygen manufacturing plants to government comprehensive hospitals and private medical colleges to meet the country’s oxygen needs. These are likely to take another ten days to bring into use. However, tens of thousands of corona patients are dying every day in the country from any source of oxygen. Medical experts are concerned that if the corona speed is not controlled, more people are at risk of losing oxygen in the next few days than the corona.
Corona surge in Telugu states
Corona is causing unrest in Telugu states. In a single day, yesterday in the AP 22 thousand people fell corona heavy. With this, the number of corona heavy victims in AP has reached 12 lakhs. Of these, 10 lakh have recovered, officials said. Another 2 lakh people are receiving treatment. However, corona patients who could not find beds in public and private hospitals in AP are suffering from various conditions. The government has raised its hand to not be able to allocate beds to those who are newly burdened with corona, rather than those who return home with corona recovery. Although CM Jagan has directed that corona patients be allotted beds within 3 hours, they are not looking at implementation at the field level. Patients who could not find beds at Eluru Government Hospital are lying under trees. The situation is similar in Telangana. In a single day yesterday, 7 thousand people in Telangana fell corona heavy. With this, the number of corona active cases in Telangana has reached 50 lakh. Telangana CS announced that there is no shortage of beds and oxygen for corona patients. The situation in Telangana is a bit better compared to AP.
The second dose only
There is a stir at the corona vaccination centres in the Telugu states. Authorities say they are vaccinating only those who are 45 years old and have a second vaccination. With this, people are getting anxious at the corona vaccination centres. 40 lakh people in Telugu states are waiting for the first dose and the second dose. Recently, the central government sent 22 lakh corona vaccines to Telugu states. They are being taken by those who have been taking the second dose for over 45 years. With this, those who have registered online are getting worried.
Third-wave inevitable?
The corona is causing second wave turmoil in the country. They are also unable to predict exactly when the second wave will end. However, the Central Technical Adviser said that there was a third corona wave danger in the country. With this, people are going for vaccinations with the news that there is a risk of corona rupture in the country once again. Due to the inadequate supply of vaccines, only 50 people are being vaccinated at each centre. Hundreds of people are queuing for vaccination centres, while 50 are said to have been vaccinated and run out of medicine. With this, the police have to be deployed at the vaccination centres. Anyway, do the rulers learn lessons from the corona merger? Or not? You have to wait.
