Akhil Akkineni is one Tollywood young gun who has oodles of screen presence but only short of luck. He is striving hard for that elusive hit and his fourth outing Most Eligible Bachelor is in the final stages. Bunny Vasu is bankrolling this project under GA2 Pictures banner while Bommarillu Bhaskar is helming the megaphone.
Bhaskar who finished 80 percent of filming prior to the lockdown resumed the shoot before a couple of months to finish the remaining portions. Though everyone thought that MEB will hit the theatres for Sankranthi, the makers postponed it to summer owing to the 50 percent occupancy rule reportedly.
But grapevine says that Nagarjuna ordered the re-shoot of pivotal portions after watching the final output and Bhaskar is in the process of doing the changes now. Let’s wait and see whether Nag’s changes guarantee Akhil his much-needed hit or not.
