Political parties are already experiencing the heat of GHMC elections. The TRS chief KCR stated that several surveys have been conducted to understand the voters’ mindset prior to the upcoming elections. He has expressed confidence that the party would win more than 100 seats, with KTR and other TRS leaders repeating the same. However, Pawan Kalyan, who was not part of the political game in Telangana, has made a statement to make his presence felt, which has triggered several speculations.
Pawan Kalyan is considered a political novice by many in Telugu politics. If you look at the statement released by Janasena Party, it proves otherwise. Janasena has released the details with regard to leadership in 50 divisions in Greater limits. It has to be presumed that the party has indirectly hinted that it will enter into the field in the Greater elections.
TRS leaders are poking fun at Pawan, saying “the one who couldn’t do anything in AP… what would he do in Telangana, that too in Greater?” However, the pink leaders have forgotten the fact that it’s because of Pawan Kalyan that YS Jagan had won with a huge majority in AP. When it comes to Greater, the BJP which is recovering now is searching for a right partner. The party feels that they can get good results in Greater elections if they use the friendship of Pawan.
It should not be forgotten that there are a majority of Seemandhra voters in a few divisions in Greater. Apart from this, the north Indians will be the vote bank for BJP. There is a talk that Seemandhra voters would get closer to BJP with the support of Pawan. They are saying that if both the parties contest election in an alliance in Greater, it will be difficult to get 100 plus seats as announced by the TRS chief. Though Pawan alone cannot show any impact, his party will give a tough fight if he aligns with BJP, and also give shocks in a few divisions. It is said that the Pink party chief took up the survey without taking Janasena into account. If this is true, it is time for KCR to make corrections in his calculations. At the same time, the elections would be a test for Pawan’s stamina in Telangana’s political arena.
