Probably no court in the history of Andhra Pradesh had reprimanded the chief minister these many times. A person who has been around the courts for years in corruption cases… has developed hatred on the courts? Is he of the opinion that being the CM and no one can order him? Once the court finds fault with the government, the chief minister would change his functioning. But our CM instead of correcting the mistake goes on making mistake after mistakes. They allege that the courts were listening to Chandrababu and retaliating against him. He tried to level corruption allegations against the upcoming Chief Justice of the Supreme Court.
Initially, the high court had slammed the government for painting the buildings of Panchayats in party colours. How can the Jagan paint party colours at the expense of the government, scolded the court. It immediately ordered the government to change those colours at the party’s expense. But, an adamant Jagan turned deaf ears and also misled the court. After the court reprimanded once again slight changes were made to the colours. So, in this one case, the court had reprimanded the CM for ten to twelve times.
It reached a climax in Panchayat elections
In the cases of Panchayat election, removal of the State Election Commissioner, KVP Ramachandra Rao’s murder, implementation of various government schemes, Dr Sudhakar… not one, not two… many cases the courts are still reprimanding. But his behaviour did not change. He is facing the blows not only in the state courts but also in the Supreme Court. If the situation continues like this… analysts opine that the government is at risk.
