KT Rama Rao, the Minister of Municipal Administration and Urban Development of Telangana today visited Warangal in Telangana. During his tour, the ABVP activists tried to stop him. With this, the situation in Warangal turned tense as the protesters clashed with the police personnel.
Minister KTR left for Warangal to inaugurate Mission Bhagiratha. ABVP activists, a BJP affiliate, tried to block the KTR convoy at Pocham Maidan in this order. This led to the police foil the attempt of ABVP activists and took them into custody. An altercation ensued between the police and the activists. The situation led to a riot. ABVP activists demanded justice for the family of Sunil who recently had committed suicide.
