Akbaruddin Owaisi sensational comments on NTR and PV memorial

The war of words between various political parties have heated up with challenges, criticisms and accusations reaching the peak level. In this context, Akbaruddin Owaisi of the Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen targeting the TRS government dared to demolish the NTR and PV Narasimha Rao memorial.

With the GHMC election date drawing closer, the campaign by various political parties is on a full swing. Politicians are trying their best to lure voters by stoking controversies and hate-filled speeches. In this context, MIM leader Akbaruddin Owaisi made sensational comments. He accused the ruling TRS of trying to demolish the houses of poor people under the pretext of illegal constructions on encroached lands. The MIM Floor Leader alleged that the Hussain Sagar which originally spanned 4700 acres, at present has been reduced to 700 acres, adding that the ruling TRS mulls removing illegal structures around the heart-shaped lake in Hyderabad. Now, Akbaruddin targeting the ruling party questioned whether they would remove the memorial of Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao and PV Narasimha Rao, which were built on encroached land adjacent to the Hussain Sagar lake. The 50-yr old even alleged the TRS of fooling people by promising them double-bedroom houses.

Counter to Bandi Sanjay

Telangana BJP Chief Bandi Sanjay Kumar gave a strong counter to the remarks made by MIM politician Akbaruddin Owaisi. He even dared the MIM Floor Leader to demolish the memorial of PV and NTR, adding it will only take a few minutes for the BJP party workers to bring down the Darussalam AIMIM Head Quarters. Sanjay also claimed that if BJP is a Delhi Party then the MIM is a Gully Party, and even questioned the latter as to how they could implement welfare schemes without central funds. For removal of LRS, TRS needs to be removed and for that, the BJP needs to come to power, Bandi Sanjay said, adding why shouldn’t those who wish Pakistan to win against India in a cricket match be kicked out.

Looking at the BJP, the MIM is now trying to target the TRS, Minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav said. The Minister of Animal Husbandry, Fisheries and Cinematography also took a dig at the MIM saying that everyone in the Assembly knows about the latter’s strength. The TRS leader having countered the MIM also lashed out at BJP’s Smriti Irani and Prakash Javadekar for making baseless allegations and terming the KCR-Owaisi alliance as ‘Unholy’. Talasani even questioned the BJP about what the Central Intelligence was doing if 40,000 Rohingyas and Bangladesh citizens were residing illegally in Old City.
