Senior comedian Ali debuted in films with Nindu Noorellu in 1979 but got his break with Seethakoka Chiluka directed by Bharathi Raja. He went on to play both the comedian and lead roles in more than 1000 films in a career spanning 41 years. Ali started the Aliwood Entertainments banner and has launched a new film called Andaru Bagundali…Andulo Nenundali under it in Annapurna Studios today.
While Ali, VK Naresh, Pavithra Lokesh, and Bommali Ravi Shankar are playing the lead roles, ABAN is directed by Sripuram Kiran. The launch ceremony was presided by Minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav, Achi Reddy, S.V Krishna Reddy, director Bobby, Boyapati Srinu, and S. Gopal Reddy.
Speaking to the occasion Ali said ‘ABAN is the remake of a realistic Malayalam comedy-drama named Vikruthi. I liked the film and asked Naresh to watch it. After Naresh gave his nod, I decided to produce it on my own banner’. Rakesh is composing the tunes for ABAN and Bhaskarabhatla is penning the lyrics.
