Nani’s ‘V’ is now the talk of tinsel town as it is the first major star-studded film that is going to be released on OTT. It was made on a lavish budget of Rs. 33 crores by Dil Raju under the direction of Indraganti Mohana Krishna. Nani, Sudheer Babu, Nivetha Thomas and Aditi Rao Hyadri are playing the lead roles in this thriller. This film which was scheduled to release on March 28th got postponed due to the closure of theatres.
But Dil Raju’s decision to release it on Amazon Prime has attracted a lot of attention from industry circles. Every one related to the industry supported this decision and even congratulated Nani for this daring move. Dil Raju wanted to cash in on this craze and made a deal with Amazon to pay some extra amount to which the OTT team agreed. But the movie’s hype is declining from the last five days and suddenly nobody seems to be interested. This is troubling Amazon Prime’s management. They have informed Dil Raju about the issue and are waiting for a response. Sources say this is the reason for Amazon’s unhappiness about ‘V’.
