Undavalli Sridevi, a YSRCP legislator from Tadikonda (SC) Assembly constituency has landed in yet another controversy. An alleged audiotape of the MLA speaking with an expelled YSRCP leader has raked in a storm among political circles in Andhra Pradesh. In the audio, the incumbent MLA can be heard saying that particular community leaders (Reddys) from the ruling party are playing crucial roles by using SC’s to hold on to power. She added that prior to elections they were treated with respect, however on assuming power they are treated far worse than dogs.
Trying to suppress us!
The Tadikonda MLA went on to say that the ruling party were showing fake affection in public view and that internally all efforts were being made to suppress them. Now, this whole audiotape has turned into a major embarrassment for the YSRCP. She alleged in the audio leak that they were being used like ‘dogs’ for campaigning, and that they must be careful in future against that particular community. However, it is heard that the CMO is now looking into the whole issue behind the audio leak.
