He is tied to the Sankranthi sentiment as he tasted enormous success with his films released during this festival.
His debut film Pataas which was released for Sankranthi of 2015 became a blockbuster. Anil’s last outing F2 with Victory Venkatesh and Varun Tej hit the theatres for 2019 Sankranthi and went on to become a blockbuster hit. We witnessed what Anil had done at the box office for this year’s Sankranthi with Mahesh Babu’s Sarileru Neekevvaru.
These continuous successes have made Anil an addict to Sankranthi and this young filmmaker is planning to start F3 during the upcoming Sankranthi and release it in 2022 at the same festival. F3 will reprise Venky, Varun, Tamannaah and Mehreen from F2 while Sunil will be the new addition. Let’s see whether this Sankranthi sentiment works out this time for Anil or not.
