Ankula murder: Yarapathineni Srinivasa Rao fires on Gurazala MLA

Senior TDP leader Yarapathineni Srinivasa Rao’s allegations that the Ankula murder was instructed by Gurazala MLA Mahesh Reddy Kasu has led to a sensation in the state.

Yarapathineni Srinivasa Rao went all guns blazing on YSRCP legislator Kasu Mahesh Reddy alleging that TDP leaders and party workers were targeted 85 times and that four murders also took place post the YSRCP leader became the MLA of Gurazala. Yarapathineni even hit out at the YSRCP government for having failed to nab the culprits of Ankula murder case even after three days. The former TDP lawmaker speaking at Guntur strongly criticised the ruling party over-targeting TDP leaders for exposing the corruption of YSRCP leaders.

Police behind the murders

The former TDP Minister lambasted the police for backing the murders instead of curbing such incidents by providing security. He recalled about the large-scale outrage among the public against the police over the murder of former Pedagarlapadu sarpanch Ankula. Though the murderers were nabbed, they have not been paraded before the media. With severe criticism against the police, three special teams have been formed to investigate the murder.

Simultaneous elections from 2022

Meanwhile, the TDP lawmaker prophesied that simultaneous (One Nation One Election) polls would be held in the coming year. Yarapathineni even went on to say that both the Chief Ministers from the Telugu states met PM Narendra Modi and expressed their willingness over simultaneous polls. The senior TDP leader gave a clarion call to the TDP supporters to prepare themselves for the simultaneous elections. Finally, Yarapathineni added that the YSRCP will lose badly in the next elections.
