AP budget Rs 2,29,779 crore … priority for Navaratnalu schemes

The one-day assembly and council meetings in AP were adjourned indefinitely. During the day, the AP Govt introduced the 2021-22 budget. Governor Biswabhusan Harichandan addressed the gathering via video conference this morning. Later, Finance Minister Buggana Rajendranath Reddy and Minister Dharmana Krishnadas introduced the budget in the council. A budget of Rs 2,29,779 crore has been introduced for the current financial year 2021-22. For the first time in the history of AP, a gender budget has been introduced. In this annual budget, a gender budget of Rs 47,283 crore has been introduced. A budget of Rs 16,748 crore has been introduced for young children.
