The political campaign for the upcoming AP Panchayat Elections have begun and the TDP supremo Nara Chandrababu Naidu released the party manifesto. Titled ‘Palle Pragati – Pancha Sutralu’ the manifesto was developed by Chandrababu. On the occasion, the TDP President said that only when villages are provided with good governance, there would be development in the state.
Five Principles laid out by TDP
- Safe drinking water, Free water connections.
- It’s imperative that people stay healthy and safe. Assurance for public safety and protection.
- To curb incidents of violence on Hindu Temples. Protection to be provided for people’s assets.
- As part of good governance, will fight to ensure that affixing digital meters to the motor pump sets used for irrigation by farmers is shelved.
- Reduction of property tax, public services to be improved. Efforts to improve cleanliness in villages and turn them into exemplary villages.
