A civil court in Hyderabad gave a temporary stay on its streaming on Netflix due to Satyam Ramalinga Raju’s plea that it would invade his private life. Ramalinga Raju was arrested in Satyam’s audit scam which involved a fraud of Rs.7000 crores. Along with him there are others like Vijay Mallya, Subrata Roy, Nirav Modi and Mehul Choksi who don’t want this web series to be streamed. Satyam scam shocked the whole nation as it was a reputed IT firm that had its offices in various countries. It was even listed in NASDAQ. A lower court in Bihar ordered Netflix not to use the name of Subrata Roy in the web series. Even the Supreme Court dismissed the Netflix’s counter petition on the lower court’s order on Wednesday. Delhi High Court has recently dismissed the petition of Mehul Choksi to pre-screen the web series for him on 28th of August.
Vijay Mallya and Nirav Modi seem to be ignoring this issue as it would be streamed sooner or later.
