The BJP successfully aimed at a target in GHMC and now aims to do the same in Tirupati. Bandi Sanjay’s inflammatory remarks made from the Shri Bhagya Laxmi Mandir, Charminar helped the party perform better in the elections. Is the BJP too dependent on the rhetoric of Bandi Sanjay in Hyderabad that he has been roped to campaign in Tirupati or do they lack confidence in their State unit president Somu Veerraju?
Is this a planned conspiracy?
Don’t know whether it is a conspiracy ahead of the Tirupati Lok Sabha bypoll or planned attacks but there have been attacks on Hindu temples. Attacks were not only the smaller temples but also in the historical temples like Ramatheertham. Until now the police have failed to nab the culprits responsible for the vandalism. The TDP has hit the road alleging that it was the failure of the government. The ruling party on the other hand alleged that it was a conspiracy by the TDP.

Want Bible or Bhagavad Gita?
Right from Chief Minister to the cabinet ministers everybody is criticizing the TDP. Under these circumstances, Sanjay has shot an arrow towards Andhra Pradesh. He has directly shot the arrow questioning whether they want the Bible or the Bhagavad Gita. While Muslims were the target in Hyderabad, in Andhra Pradesh Christians have been targeted. It means the BJP president believes that YSRCP led by Jaganmohan Reddy as Christian and BJP as a Hindu party. He has made the Congress party suffer from such a strategy in Telangana. It appears they want to use the same strategy to dent the chances of TDP in Andhra Pradesh.
BJP strategy remains the same
The strategy of the BJP seems to be one and that is if there are two contenders, take the support of one. In Telangana, it has replaced Congress and fought against TRS. Now it has slowed down after KCR went to Delhi. In AP the party is supporting YSRCP. AP BJP chief Somu Veerraju never participates in the programs which are against YS Jaganmohan Reddy. Had the same Ramatheertham incident happened in Telangana, Bandi Sanjay would have been very aggressive, and would not have cared whether it will be beneficial for the party or not. But, in the case of Somu Veerraju, with Jaganmohan Reddy in mind, he would not have spoken on the issue. Keeping this in mind the party high command has put the issue in the hands of Bandi Sanjay. However, it will be difficult for Bandi Sanjay to have his say in Andhra Pradesh because TDP is not as weak as the Congress. He may dent the seats of YSRCP but not the TDP.
