The coronavirus pandemic is expanding like water under the mat again. Telangana State Public Health Department Director Dr Srinivas said that due care is being taken with Covid appropriate behaviour being enforced in the state. Even those who have been vaccinated are at risk for corona if proper precautions are not taken. Srinivas spoke to the media along with DMH W Ramesh Reddy at the branch office in Koti.
Vaccines for 12 lakh people
Srinivas revealed that the state of Telangana has received 24,49,330 doses so far. Of that, 12 lakh people have been vaccinated. Only 0.7 per cent of doses were reported to be wasted. Everyone is advised to follow the correct corona precautions. He warned that one should be careful as there are Holi, Easter and Ugadi festivals in the next two days, otherwise everyone will have to pay a heavy price.
