Former AP Minister and TDP Leader Bhuma Akhila Priya who has been arrested in connection with the Bowenpally kidnap case has been denied bail by the Secunderabad Court. The Court also allowed three-day police custody. The police have been given permission to interrogate Bhuma Akhila Priya who is in remand at the Chanchalguda women prison over the kidnapping issue.
It is known that the police arrested Bhuma Akhila Priya for her alleged involvement in the kidnap of shuttler Praveen Rao and his siblings, on the 6th of January. Later, she was sent to 14-day judicial custody by the Court. Since then, Akhila Priya has been trying for bail, and the rejection of bail by the Court on Monday comes as a shocker for the former AP Minister. The court agreed to the request made by the police in order to interrogate her for more details pertaining to the kidnap issue. However, it is known that Akhila Priya’s husband Bhargav Ram is still on the run. A manhunt by police is on to nab the TDP leader’s husband who is said to be in the hiding in Bengaluru.
