Stylish Star Allu Arjun’s Pan-Indian outing Pushpa is directed by creative director Sukumar. Bunny and Sukku have two hits Arya and Arya-2 to their resumes. Kannada beauty Rashmika Mandanna is playing the female lead in this rustic thriller which is based on red sandal smuggling.
Pushpa is going through a villain-less phase as Sukku is unable to confirm the main antagonist to date. Though Sunil, Rao Ramesh, and Mukesh Rishi are roped in to play the bad batch, Sukumar and Bunny are still confused about the actor who plays the main villain.
After Vijay Sethupathi’s exit from Pushpa, the names of Bobby Simha and Arya were considered for this role. But Tollywood sources are abuzz that Sukumar is eyeing a Bollywood star to take the project’s span to the next level. He is reportedly in talks with Bobby Deol who recently revived his career with Salman Khan’s Race 3. Let’s see whether they can rope this Punjabi heartthrob or not.
