Butchiah Chowdary’s makes sensational comments

For the first time ever in Indian politics, a political party is targeting one community and that too openly. While TDP MLC Rajendra Prasad expressed his anguish recently, senior TDP leader and MLA Gorantla Butchiah Chowdary appealed to Jagan’s Govt not to resort to this trend.

“Kamma caste is a good community which made the fruits of industrialization reach people even before independence. This community shaped the state’s economy and political thought by working with stalwarts such as Puchalapalli Sundarayya. It is now being harassed and hassled. The community also played a major role in the development of Hyderabad. We sincerely believed that being a young leader, Jagan would change the dynamics of the state, but he is relying on cheap caste politics to enforce his agenda. His application of caste reference to every entity in the state is ridiculous and he needs to change immediately to avoid the wrath of people. I don’t say that one should not love his caste but that love should not turn into hate for other communities and that’s what I want to say to Jagan. Did Chandrababu not allot contracts to the Reddy community in his rule?” asked Gorantla.

Extending his appeal, Gorantla further added, “YSRCP Government came into existence due to the voting of all the communities and not a single one. Set aside Kamma community, what about other castes? The Government has stooped down to such a low level that it hasn’t given posting orders to 100 policemen from the community. I have won from Rajahmundry for six times and this is not due to one single caste. In the wake of all the above facts, I appeal to and warn Jagan’s Govt. to see all the communities in the same light”.

While the YSRCP ministers are commenting that Naidu is behaving like a Kamma leader, CM Jagan took one stop forward and called Election Commissioner Nimmagadda Ramesh as the representative of a single community.
