Akkineni scion Naga Chaitanya had a success streak in 2019 as his movies ‘Majili’ and ‘Venky Mama’ tasted box office success. While he shared the screen space with his better half Samantha in ‘Majili’, his stint with uncle Venky stole hearts in ‘Venky Mama’. He is currently busy with ‘Love Story’ under the direction of Sekhar Kammula while his other upcoming project with Vikram K Kumar was announced recently.
‘Love Story’ should have been in theatres now if not for lockdown. Sai Pallavi is playing the female lead in this sensitive love drama. It was in the midway of its shoot when lockdown got imposed and the team is going to resume the filming soon. Naga Chaitanya is donning the character of a Telangana guy in the movie and his local accent is said to be the highlight of the movie.
His next film ‘Thank you’ is being produced by ace producer Dil Raju and the team has already released its first look poster on Nagarjuna’s birthday. Vikram K Kumar is helming the megaphone for this romantic thriller. Nagarjuna has pinned a lot of hopes on this film. Makers said they will reveal the details of the remaining cast and technicians soon.
Grapevine says that Chaitu is also actively taking part in story discussions with directors Nandini Reddy and Indraganti Mohana Krishna. Nandini’s long awaited dream to make a movie with Naga Chaitanya is about to be fulfilled as he is impressed with the storyline she narrated to him during the filming of ‘Oh Baby’. Now Nandini is said to be working towards finalizing the bound script. Naga Chaitanya also gave his nod to Indraganti Mohana Krishna’s concept and one of these films is about to release in 2021 along with ‘Love Story’ and ‘Thank you’.
