The TDP, the main opposition party, has launched a 30-day offensive against the ruling YSRCP in the run-up to the polls. As part of this, TDP national general secretary Nara Lokesh has already entered the fray, the entry of TDP supremo Chandrababu Naidu has intensified the political atmosphere in Tirupati parliamentary constituency. They are both telling voters not to vote for the YCP in this election. Why not vote for YSRCP? Why TDP? What is the benefit to the people if the YSRCP loses in this election? If YSRCP loses, Jagan will fall to the ground: Chandrababu
Chandrababu said that CM Jagan Mohan Reddy, who was hovering in the sky with the feeling that power would be handed over if the YCP lost the Tirupati Lok Sabha by-election, would step down. Chandrababu set fire to the Jagannath regime during his participation in the Podalakuru roadshow. Chandrababu, who has sincerely said that there is no bigger result than voting for the TDP in the Tirupati by-election, said that if the YCP votes, Jagannath’s pride will increase even more. Chandrababu commented that he was aware that the TDP had not come to power with the Tirupati seat, but that if the YCP lost, Jagannath’s pride, which was causing severe hardship to the people, would go down. He said that if Jagan’s pride falls to the ground, it will be good not only for the people of Tirupati but also for the people of the state.
Chandrababu also demanded that Jagan tell him why he should actually vote for the YCP in this election. Is it all because of the increase in prices? Because he was deceived into believing that he would bring special status to the state? Is it because the government has increased the price of alcohol by saying that it is a ban on alcohol and brought it into the liquor business? Is it because the farmer has named Bharosa and withheld all other schemes? Chandrababu said in a range. Chandrababu slammed the ruling YSRCP saying that what was going on in the state was not the constitution written by Ambedkar and that the constitution of Jagannath’s grandfather Rajareddy was being implemented. Will not tolerate if TDP workers are targeted: Lokesh
Nara Lokesh has warned the YCP government that it will not tolerate harassment of TDP workers and leaders if power is in their hands. Lokesh Jagannath, who took part in a roadshow in the fort area of the Nellore district, was outraged at the government. He questioned what justice could be done to the people of the state if his own uncle YS Vivekananda Reddy was brutally murdered in his own house. Lokesh made sensational remarks that suspicions were being raised about the involvement of Jagan’s family members in the YS Vivekananda murder case. Lokesh also threw a challenge to CM YS Jagan in this regard. He reminded Jagan about the challenge he had already thrown at him and demanded answers. Lokesh demanded that justice be done to Vivekananda’s family by stifling the issue of the latter’s murder. Lokesh was outraged that TDP workers and leaders were being harassed with constant threats and cases, and issued a stern warning that he would no longer tolerate such atrocities.
