The national and state committees of Telugu Desam Party were formed but till now the AP Telugu Yuvata president has not yet been announced by Chandrababu. He is unable to decide about the new president. It is common for a party president to delay the decision when there are strong contenders, but the TDP is facing a peculiar issue in this regard. Two leaders from the same district are vying for the post of Telugu Yuvatha president. It has reached a point where both the leaders have expressed their frustration over continuing in the party when no post is being given.
There are speculations that the Telugu Yuvata post would be given to Paritala Sriram but at the same time, JC Pavan is also eyeing for the post.
Why is Pavan aiming for the post?
As far as the Anantapur district politics is considered, the YSRCP government is targeting the JC family. They are creating troubles for the JC family. There were arrests in the issue of buses belonging to JC brothers. After coming from jail, they were again arrested for violating the Corona guidelines. People are discussing that in this way the JC family has been targeted by Jagan in different ways.
Pavan says that in such circumstances when the family is being targeted if there is a party post at least they can go to the people by being active in the people. Pavan’s argument appears to be correct.
Pavan is silent and keeps away from the party programs stating that when the party was not giving any post why he should attend the programs. There are talks of civic polls in February and there is a talk of one nation one poll and at this crucial juncture, the party leaders are becoming silent.
Paritala Sriram is also upset with the signals that he may not get the post and his rival JC family would be given the post. Hence, he was also not active in politics. It has to be seen where this silence by important leaders would lead to.
