Telangana CM KCR has called for a high-level meeting to take stock of the situation in the state, following the havoc wreaked by heavy rains. The meeting is being held at Pragathi Bhavan with all the concerned officials in the wake of the central government asking the state government to submit a report regarding the necessary action being taken.
The CM directed the ministers and officials attending the meeting to compile a full-fledged report regarding the flooding and damage caused in the city. Municipal Administration and Urban Development Minister KTR, Energy Minister Guntakandla Jagadish Reddy, Errabelli Dayakar Rao, Vemula Prashanth Reddy, Talasani Srinivas Yadav and Mahmood Ali have taken part in the meeting with CM KCR.
Report is ready
The Centre has asked the state government to furnish a report regarding the damage so that the necessary financial assistance could be provided. It is known that PM Modi had spoken with the Telangana CM KCR assuring him of all the help required from the Centre. In this meeting, issues related to crop damage, rescue and relief efforts were discussed by the CM, Ministers and top officials. A comprehensive report will be sent to the Centre.
