Bollywood blockbuster Pink starring Amitabh Bachchan and Taapsee Pannu is a commercial film with a unique premise. When Pawan decided to remake it as Vakeel Saab, everybody wondered as there are no hero elevation scenes in the original. But director Venu Sriram and producer Dil Raju infused a flashback episode into the script that accommodates Pawan’s signature heroism for his fans.
Vakeel Saab is made under Sri Venkateswara Creations banner and is nearing its completion. It will hit the theatres in the coming April. Coming to the remake of Ayyappanum Koshiyum, Pawan is playing the role of a sub-inspector which was essayed by Biju Menon in the original. This is termed as a rather dry character in terms of Tollywood standards.
To make it extra spicy, director Saagar K. Chandra is also following the same flashback format which has entertaining scenes for diehard Pawan fans. Rana is sharing the screen space with Power Star in this ego drama produced by Sithara Entertainments. It will be completed in a single schedule planned in Pollachi.
