The Dubbaka by-election heat has increased. Parties are busy announcing candidates. Putting the curtains down on speculations, the TRS party has announced the name of Ramalinga Reddy’s wife Sujatha Reddy. The BJP has declared the name of Raghunandan Rao as its candidate on Tuesday. After getting a green signal from Sonia Gandhi, Congress party has announced the name of Cheruku Srinivas Reddy, son of former MLA late Cheruku Muthyam Reddy today. The TRS, which wants to win the election at any cost, has intensified the campaign. Important leaders are being stationed locally and made to appeal to the voters to ensure victory of TRS.
KCR takes Dubbaka seriously…
This is an election pertaining to one seat. That too it is a sitting seat. There is an advantage of sympathy. Still the Pink boss KCR is seriously working on Dubbaka by-election. He has been keeping in touch with Harish Rao and giving suggestions to the leaders from time to time. The leaders were given clear instructions not to lose the Dubbaka seat under any circumstances. They were asked to counter the conspiracies of the opposition parties and strive for the victory of the party. The TRS leaders were asked to publicize the development works taken up by the TRS in villages and what the party would do for the betterment of Dubbaka in future. It is learnt that the leaders were asked to speak about the injustice done to Telangana by the BJP-led government at the Centre and inform people about the facts so that people can question the BJP leaders when they come to seek votes. TRS leaders are reminding people about the commitment of Ramalinga Reddy and the development works done by him. KCR has been filling confidence among the leaders by saying, “If we go to the people with a clear strategy, they will respect the party. People will be with us if we assure them that we are with them.”
The TRS government which has already given 9,000 new pensions has decided to provide superfine rice to white card holders. It would be interesting to know how KCR, who is reviewing from Pragathi Bhavan, will succeed in checkmating the strategies of the opposition parties, who are camping at Dubbaka.
