Andhra Pradesh State Election Commissioner Nimmagadda Ramesh took a sensational decision on Monday. He issued instructions suspending the EC Joint Director GV Sai Prasad, adding that it would be made effective as soon as possible. It is known that the state government and the state election commission had been at loggerheads with each other on the issue of holding local body or panchayat elections. As of now, the case is under sub-judice. While employees too have expressed their reluctance towards the issuance of notification by the SEC. Now, the suspension of GV Sai Prasad has become a topic of discussion.
EC Joint Director suspended by SEC Nimmagadda Ramesh
In a sensational decision, the SEC Nimmagadda Ramesh on Monday issued instructions suspending the EC Joint Director GV Sai Prasad. The SEC said that the Joint Director had been on uninformed absence for 30 days and that it’s a violation of rules.
