Ram Pothineni who is fondly called Energetic Star by fans is known for his high-voltage performances and electrifying dance moves. This 32-year-old entered films with YVS Chowdary’s Devadasu in 2006. He recently scored a massive hit with iSmart Shankar putting an end to his flop streak.
Ram’s films are known for their action-oriented scenes coupled with peppy love tracks. Even though some of them failed in their theatrical release, his Hindi dubbed movies amassed millions of views on Youtube. His acting style has a huge fan base in North India and five of his films got more than 100 million views on the video-sharing platform.
Recently his 2009 release Ganesh: Just Ganesh reached the 100 million mark and Ram created a sensational record for being the first Tollywood hero who has six films that crossed 100 million views on Youtube. This action romance was dubbed into Hindi as Kshatriya: Ek Yoddha which has Kajal Aggarwal in the female lead. It was directed by M. Saravanan while Ram’s uncle Sravanthi Ravi Kishore bankrolled the project.
