Ex-Minister tenders her resignation from TDP

The former minister resigned from the primary membership of the TDP.

Former TDP MLA from Gajapathinagaram Assembly constituency and ex-minister Padala Aruna has called it quits from the Telugu Desam Party. A three-time legislator from Gajapathinagaram in Vizianagaram district, she had served as a minister in the state. The senior woman TDP leader in North Andhra and former minister sent her resignation letter to the TDP supremo Nara Chandrababu Naidu.  The TDP leader lamented that despite having served for 33-years in the party, she was just used a pawn and that she was not accorded any significant position. Since she was not feeling better to remain in the party, she informed about her decision to move out. Padala Aruna’s followers claim that she was disappointed with the TDP high command and district leaders for sidelining her. Sadly, the TDP leader was not even considered in the state committee.
