A social activist has filed public interest litigation in the high court over the incident in which 11 people died due to oxygen deprivation at the Tirupati Ruia Government Hospital. The High Court heard the case today. JBP Reddy, counsel for the petitioner, contended that 50 corona patients died due to lack of oxygen in the Ruia incident and the government claimed that only 11 died. The bench directed the government to file a counterclaim. The High Court said that the next hearing would be held after the summer recess.
