The Congress party has been facing shocks one after the other. Even before they could overcome one shock there is another one coming. Late Congress party leader Mukesh Goud’s son Vikram Goud is likely to join BJP. The Congress leader who was unhappy with the party leadership for some time was persuaded by BJP leader DK Aruna to join the saffron party.
The distribution of tickets seems to be the reason for the unhappiness. Vikram Goud was unhappy that he could not get tickets for his followers and hence decided to join the BJP. DK Aruna had recently met Vikram at his residence in Afzalgunj. He is likely to join BJP in the presence of BJP national leaders in a day or two. It is learnt that the five Congress candidates in Goshamahal have also decided to withdraw their nominations.
