Web series are posing a clear threat to the films as they are being made with lavish budgets in exotic locales. Lockdown turned Indian audiences to this new format and many started liking them instantly. Many Bollywood stars started starring in web series already as they are nothing short of movies in every aspect.
Recently action hero Hrithik Roshan was approached by an OTT giant with a crazy offer. They have reportedly offered him Rs.90crores to star in a high-budget web series. It is an out-and-out action series consisting of six episodes. The makers have offered such stellar remuneration to Hrithik owing to his international craze.
Disha Patani is going to play the female lead in this yet to be named web series. If sources are to be believed, the makers will take this project on to the sets in the coming January. If this project materializes, every other hero in Bollywood will tread the web series route. Isn’t it?
