Telangana: Increase in retirement age effective from today

It is known that in addition to raising the salaries of employees, the decision has also been taken to raise the retirement age. The Telangana Legislative Assembly approved a government decision in this regard to raise the retirement age to 61 to utilize the services of employees with experience in administration. This will benefit about 36,000 employees. However, the government has issued a gazette notification that the retirement age hike will take effect from Tuesday. However, the Telangana employees are happy with the decision taken by the CM KCR led TRS government.
