Karthi surprised both Kollywood and Tollywood with his hit film Khaidi. It is a high-voltage action and emotional thriller that won admiration of audiences. Khaidi portrays the story of a prisoner who gets released due to good behaviour but is forced to help the Police department because of circumstances. It sported an underlying father-daughter sentiment that glued audiences to the silver screens.
It was directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj who is now making Master with Vijay. Khaidi is now being remade in Hindi by Reliance Entertainments. Ajay Devgan is playing the lead role in it. Grapevine is Ajay’s wife Kajol has been roped in to play his screen wife in this remake. Kajol is also said to have satisfied with her character and given her nod. The film’s regular shooting will start from December and Ajay Devgan is keen on finishing it in a single schedule.
