KCR has to compromise if he wants to win Baldia!

The meeting of Majlis chief Owaisi and KCR has attained significance in the wake of the approaching GHMC elections.

In the wake of GHMC elections, the Pink Party boss Kalvakuntla Chandrashekar Rao has begun to hold meetings with the Majlis. Both the leaders met to explore the possibilities of having a tie-up in the Baldia elections. As part of this, Majlis chief Asaduddin Owaisi reached Pragathi Bhavan at 7.30 PM on Thursday. Both leaders had an important meeting on Baldia elections.

Majlis party chief Asaduddin Owaisi and Telangana Rashtra Samithi chief Kalvakuntla Chandrasekhara Rao are in the final stages of having a deal for the elections. The Telangana Rashtra Samithi, which could not retain the seat in Dubbaka, is tactically dealing on seat sharing in the Baldia elections this time. The Pink Boss is taking no chances.

The Majlis party, which has a strong vote bank in Bhagyanagar, is likely to demand more seats in the alliance than in the last election. Asaduddin is likely to insist that if the party agrees to give him the post of city mayor no matter how many seats he gets, he will continue his alliance with the TRS in the upcoming elections across the state.

TRS’ situation changed with Dubbaka defeat

Had the TRS got a solid victory in Dubbaka, KCR would not have cared much about the alliance with the Majlis. He would have gone to the elections with a tag line of a friendly understanding. Now the situation has totally changed. It is learned that the Dubbaka defeat and the BJP strengthening its ground, has led K to strike a chord with the Majlis.

The Dubbaka result will definitely have an impact on the city election. That is why KCR entered into the field with the intention of not making even a small mistake. Though, KCR met Asaduddin, a final deal between the two leaders was not be reached. However, analysts expect at least two more meetings for a consensus to happen.

KCR has to compromise

Many think that KCR has to compromise to some extent if an alliance has to be made with the Majlis. The TRS is unable to come to terms with the defeat in Dubbaka, at the same time Majlis is in an upbeat mood with the victory in Bihar. In this context, many are predicting that KCR will give in to any demand by the Majlis.

KCR’s Direction

KCR said that the party has to win more than a hundred corporator positions in Greater Hyderabad. He told the party leaders that there will be no effect of Dubbaka on the Greater and that the schedule was likely to come in two to three days. Leaders need to be vigilant, he said. He expressed confidence of winning Warangal and Khammam corporations.

KCR asked his party leaders to say that they have met after several days due to Corona and asked them to strongly counter the BJP’s propaganda. KCR held a meeting with ministers and party general secretaries. MP Asaduddin reached Pragathi Bhavan while the meeting was going on. The CM told party leaders that he would work with the MIM in Greater.
