All the political parties are accusing Jangaon MLA Muthireddy Yadagiri Reddy of encroaching a large lake in the Cherial Mandal area of Siddipet district. Opposition parties have alleged that the MLA had encroached the land and got it registered in the name of his daughter. They also tried to demolish the wall constructed by the MLA. Police who entered the field arrested the all-party leaders. However, they escaped from the station and staged protests in the area where the pond was located. All party leaders are demanding action against the MLA who has occupied the lake
But the police used batons and tried to disperse them. Nonetheless, all parties are relentlessly protesting and strongly opposing the government’s move. The government has not yet commented on the incident.
