The Telangana BJP has selected another slogan to reach out to the people. The party leaders who claim a positive atmosphere in Telangana are now attaching sentiment to this. Though the sentiment is an old one, they are using it in a different way in the state. The BJP strongly believes that Lord Ram would make it a strong force. The party is planning to take up campaign programs like ‘Ram temple construction in Ayodhya… Ram Rajya Sthapana in Telangana’. The BJP leaders mull visiting every state in the name of ‘Rama Mandir Nirman Nidhi Samarpan Abhiyan’. There is an opinion that the party is trying to strengthen itself with this opportunity.
The party is also chalking out a plan to expose the failures of CM KCR to the people. Apart from targeting KCR and TRS politically, the party wants to utilise the anger of people against the government to its advantage. The BJP leaders are stating that already people are unhappy with the TRS rule and all the sections are getting ready to fight against the government. The party wants to plan programs by supporting the people. The state unit has already taken up protests on the problems of the teachers and other employees alleging that the government was neglecting their issues.
The BJP has decided to intensify the fight against the government like never before. The BJP chief Bandi Sanjay made harsh comments against the Chief Minister likening his administration which is being run from Pragathi Bhavan and Farm House to a demon rule. He has been touring state-wide giving moral support to the people in distress.
The state leadership is of the opinion that there is a good response to the efforts of Bandi Sanjay. The party wants to take the message that there will be more problems during KCR’s rule, whilst highlighting the development works of PM Modi government in the country and also seek votes for Rama Rajya. It has to be seen how the people would react to the old slogan taken up in a new manner by the BJP leaders.
