RX100 gave a rude jolt to the TFI which was busy with sugar-coated love stories and run of the mill masala entertainers. The way it showed the betrayal by a girl sent chills down the spines of our audiences. Ajay Bhupathi who earlier assisted RGV made his debut as a director with RX100 and achieved great success and instant recognition.
But Ajay failed to translate this success into opportunities as his narrations were rejected by many top stars of Tollywood from the last couple of years. Finally, he had to satisfy with Sharwanand for his upcoming film Maha Samudram which is touted to be an intense love story with an extra dose of violence. Bommarillu Siddharth is roped in to play another leading role in this flick after his Gruham. Aditi Rao Hydari and Anu Immanuel are playing leading ladies in this film which revolves around a girl named Maha in the backdrop of the ocean. If sources are to be believed, Maha Samudram retains the shades of RX100 when it comes to emotions and violence. Let’s see whether this film lifts the sinking career of Sharwanand or not.
