Megastar Chiranjeevi and King Nagarjuna call on Telangana CM

Film stars Chiranjeevi and Nagarjuna called on Telangana CM KCR at Pragathi Bhavan on Saturday. Both actors handed over cheques to the CMRF to take up flood relief measures.

Megastar Chiranjeevi and King Nagarjuna met Telangana CM Kalvakuntla Chandrashekhar Rao at Pragathi Bhavan and discussed various issues related to the opening of cinema halls in the state. Though the Centre under unlock 5.0 allowed cinemas to open, some states including Telangana refused to allow the opening of movie theatres and multiplexes citing fear of pandemic.

Both actors even-handed cheques to the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund towards relief work in the wake of unprecedented heavy rains which wreaked havoc in the state. Megastar Chiranjeevi and King Nagarjuna handed over cheques worth Rs 1 crore and Rs 50 lakhs each respectively. While Director Ram on behalf of My Homes Group handed a cheque of Rs 5 crores to the CMRF.
