YSRCP MP Raghu Rama Krishnam Raju has yet again resorted to a series of criticisms against his own party. Right from implementation of English medium in schools to land allocation to the underprivileged and the three capitals issue, the decisions taken by the ruling state government have been severely criticised by him. Now, the MP in his own trademark style has opened up regarding the Modi-Jagan meet in the National Capital.
What the YSRCP MP knows?
The YSRCP hasn’t received any invite from the Centre, the Narsapuram MP said, adding their party leaders are simply claiming that they have been made Union Ministers. He went on to say that these claims would continue and would soon be busted next month when the Union Cabinet reshuffle would take place. Interestingly, the MP also stated that the BJP doesn’t need any party’s assistance nor have they sought an alliance. “Will the temple-building party, join hands with a party that demolishes temples?” the MP questioned.
Raghu Rama Krishnam Raju lashed out at his own party for weaving false narratives as if they were fighting for AP special status and that it’s the BJP that’s inviting YSRCP to join the NDA. “Is Jagan so fond of special status?” the MP questioned, adding that if the CM is so sincere in obtaining special status let his MPs tender their resignation. He claimed he was ready to resign as MP if required.
Like a thorn in the flesh
There has been a growing resentment amongst YSRCP leaders against the Narsapuram MP Raghu Rama Krishnam Raju for criticising his own party and for his remarks against the meeting between PM Narendra Modi and AP CM YS Jaganmohan Reddy. However, both the BJP and the YSRCP have remained mute after the meeting which is leading to a lot of speculation on their ‘secret friendship’.
