Dil Raju who is fondly called as ‘Rajanna’ by industry insiders is not in the best of form lately. Once a hit producer, Dil Raju is now stuck in financial problems leading to releasing his big-budgeted production ‘V’ on OTT out of desperation, and of course, because of the COVID crisis. All his upcoming projects are on an indefinite hold due to the pandemic and he is said to have been scratching his head over this uncertainty playing spoilsport with his plans.
Grapevine says that Dil Raju’s brother’s son is going to be launched as a hero on his own banner. We all know that he encourages ‘feel-good’ cinema and even presents other’s films on his banner if he likes the content. But most of his films which got released last year failed at box office and Raju is said to be in the introspection mode about the root cause for these failures.
Recently, he came to know that majority of the media members on film beat have turned against him and his banner because of his promotion team. Media friends say that the promotion team members behave arrogantly with the media fraternity which has resulted in a constant strife between the two parties. Since he is launching his brother’s son, he will be better off resolving issues with the media as the new hero needs a lot of publicity.
