Officials of the agency specialized in curbing corruption conducted raids on APEPDCL official for having amassed disproportionate wealth. ACB officials on Thursday swarmed in on Assistant Executive Engineer Nageswara Rao’s residence based on a tip-off.
Searches were also conducted in several areas of Visakhapatnam district, including Rambilli village. In the raids, the ACB officials seized three lockers and several documents related to illegal assets. The officials also conducted raids in Vizianagaram and held the Bondapalli AE for accepting a bribe of ₹10,00,000. AE Dasari Murali Mohan Rao was held for taking a bribe towards sanctioning of a bore connection.
