PM Narendra Modi slams China in his Diwali speech

PM Modi in his Diwali speech from Rajasthan's Jaisalmer lambasted China for its expansionist mindset. He warned that India would give a fierce reply to those who provoke the nation’s borders.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is spending this Diwali with the Indian Army jawans at the strategic Longewala post in Rajasthan’s Jaisalmer. Without taking any names, he indirectly took a jab at China saying that expansionist forces will be dealt with force and that the Indian Armed Forces were fully capable to swiftly deal with any challenge.

“India believes in a policy of understanding and making others understand, but if an attempt to test our resolve is made, then the country will give a fierce reply. No force in the world can prevent our soldiers from protecting our borders. India has shown it has strength and the political will to give a befitting reply to those challenging it. The world now knows that India will not compromise with its interests even one bit,” the Prime Minister in his Diwali speech from the Longewala post said.

Earlier, the PM in his address to the SCO (Shanghai Cooperation Organisation) made it clear that all members (including China and Pakistan) should respect each other’s sovereignty and territorial integrity. During his visit, PM Modi clad in an Indian Army Uniform experienced a tank ride. He even thanked all the soldiers for their sacrifice and for all the hardships they face while protecting our borders.
