No one can forget the spine-chilling horror scenes in Tamil gothic thriller Pisaasu which was released in 2014. It was directed by Mysskin and produced by Bala. Pisaasu was dubbed into Telugu as Pisaachi and remade into Kannada as Raakshasi.
After six long years, the makers wanted to helm a sequel for it and started the pre-production work. Mysskin decided to rope in Poorna for the devil’s role in this sequel which does good things. This Malayalam beauty is known for doing experimental roles and is well known to Tollywood audiences with Ravi Babu’s Avunu series.
Poorna is also starring in Balayya-Boyapati’s hat-trick film currently. Mysskin and Bala will start the sequel of Pisaasu in the last week of January and are going to finish it in a single schedule. Most of the film will be shot in the Dindigul region of Tamil Nadu. Ilayaraja’s son Karthik Raja is composing the tunes for it.
