Rebel Star Krishnam Raju introduced Prabhas as his successor with Eeswar in 2002. Though the first two films of Prabhas bombed at the box office, Varsham made him a star and there is no looking back for him since then.
Prabhas shared screen space with his uncle Krishnam Raju in Billa which was released in 2009 and Rebel which hit the theatres in 2011. Their combination was well appreciated and Uppalapati fans are waiting to see them rock the silver screens again. After a decade, Krishnam Raju is playing a pivotal role in Young Rebel Star’s Pan-Indian love story Radhe Shyam directed by Radha Krishna Kumar.
Apart from it, he is also portraying the role of Dasaratha in Om Raut’s Adipurush which is based on the epic Ramayan. As Krishnam Raju turned 81 today, let’s wish that his long-standing dream of helming Vishala Nethralu comes true.
