National award-winning actress Priyamani is seeing an all-time high in her career now. She entered films with Evare Atagaadu in 2003 and went on to star in all the South Indian languages. Priyamani received the national award for her heart-wrenching performance in Paruthiveeran which marks the debut of star hero Karthi.
She entered into the flop category after 2010 and star heroes distanced themselves from her. Priya married her boyfriend Mustafa Raj in 2017. After all these years, Priyamani is seeing a sudden inflow of big films into her kitty. She is currently acting in more than six films in Hindi, Telugu, and Kannada languages.
Priya is currently busy with Maidaan in Hindi starring Ajay Devgan and Naarappa in Telugu with Venkatesh. Naarappa is the Telugu remake of Kollywood hit Asuran in which Priya is playing the role of Sundaramma. Apart from these two, Priya’s Pan-Indian film Cyanide under the direction of Rajesh Touchriver is about to start. Cyanide has a Pan-Indian star cast in it. It is based on the life of notorious criminal Cyanide Mohan who raped, robbed, and killed more than 20 girls.
Regular shooting of this film will start from January and will be held at Hyderabad, Bengaluru, Mangalore, Goa, and Mysore, etc. While Priyamani is playing the female lead in Cyanide, Yashpal Sharma is essaying the role of a cop.
