Collection King Mohan Babu is returning to the silver screen as a lead actor after a hiatus of two years. He is busy shooting for Son of India directed by the popular dialogue writer Diamond Ratna Babu. It is produced by 24 Frames Factory and Sri Lakshmi Prasanna Pictures jointly.
We have recently seen Mohan Babu in a guest role in Suriya’s Aakasam Nee Haddura. His performance in this OTT blockbuster was well received by the audiences. Son of India is a patriotic film which is made on a novel point and the veteran actor is also providing the screenplay for it.
Slim beauty Rakul Preet Singh is reportedly roped in to play a pivotal role in this film. She is said to have impressed with Ratna Babu’s narration and given her nod. Rakul recently landed in Hyderabad after a long holiday in the Maldives and is gearing up to join the sets shortly.
The team has already completed the first schedule in Tirupati along with a song. The second schedule started on Wednesday in Hyderabad and the unit has erected a large set to can the remaining portions. Ratna Babu is going to shoot the scenes sporting Mohan Babu and Rakul’s combination as soon as the latter joins the shoot.
