Mass Maharaja Ravi Teja’s career hit an all-time low owing to his continuous flops from the last three years. Anil Ravipudi’s Raja The Great was his last box office success which got released in 2017. Ravi is pinning lots of hopes on his upcoming film Krack directed by Gopichand Malineni. Ravi and Gopi’s combination produced blockbusters like Don Seenu and Balupu earlier.
While Shruti Haasan is playing the female lead in this cop thriller, the makers are releasing it for the coming Sankranthi. Ravi Teja announced his next film Khiladi under the direction of Ramesh Varma who made Veera with him way back in 2011. Ramesh Varma recently tasted a bumper hit with Rakshasudu.
Ravi is said to have selected the title Khiladi owing to his ‘K’ sentiment. His previous films Khadgam, Krishna, and Kick whose first letter was ‘K’ became super hits. Even though the same sentiment hasn’t worked for Khatarnak and Kick 2, Ravi followed it and named the film Khiladi. While Dimple Hayathi and Meenakshi Chaudhary are playing the leading ladies, hot anchor Anasuya is essaying a negative role in the film.
