The fans of the firebrand leader Revanth Reddy are furious on AP Minister Perni Nani and have been trolling the latter on social media platforms for the past two days. The reason being Nani’s comments made during a chit chat with media personnel on various issues related to Chandrababu Naidu.
Stating that Chandrababu managed to stay away from the various cases, Perni Nani began by speaking about the corruption in Eluru scam etc. “After KCR came into power, one person got caught in ‘vote for note’ case… he is a short fellow…he goes here and there and creates scenes,” Nani said. These comments by the AP Minister against their leader made the followers of Revanth furious. They targeted Nani and his family members by alleging them of corruption.
There is a reason for such a reaction from the followers of Revanth. During YS Rajasekhara Reddy’s tenure as CM, Perni Venkataramaiah had won from Machilipatnam. Revanth Reddy was also in the Assembly then. While Nani was in Congress, Revanth was in TDP and both knew each other.
Speculations are that efforts are being made to stop Revanth Reddy from becoming the TPCC President by highlighting the vote for note case, as the dynamic LS MP from Malkajgiri enjoys good relations with AP CM Jagan and Telangana CM KCR. The followers are not only targeting the leaders of AP but also others who are pointing their fingers towards Revanth.
Meanwhile, the YSRCP followers are also giving counter to the followers of Revanth with some even threatening them. Now, Perni Nani involving Revanth while taking a dig at Chandrababu, led to the AP Minister face the ire of trollers on social media.
