Teja is going to start a family entertainer with Action Star Gopichand shortly. He named it Alivelu Venkataramana and fixed Taapsee Pannu as the female lead. But Taapsee left the project because of her previous commitments in Mumbai.
This made Teja approach Rowdy Baby Sai Pallavi for this performance-oriented role. Sai who charged Rs.80 lakhs for MCA and Fidaa demanded 1.5crore to act opposite Gopi. It left Teja in dilemma and he is now confused about whether to go with Sai or not. Alivelu Venkataramana is a special film for Gopi as he is experiencing a lean phase in his career for now.
