Rowdy Star Vijay Deverakonda is going the Pan-Indian way with Fighter directed by Puri Jagannadh. This film is produced by Charmme Kaur and Karan Johar under Puri Connects and Dharma Productions banners jointly. Though a section of media reported that this film got shelved due to financial troubles, the makers have released the first look poster of it hinting at an upcoming schedule.
Puri has interestingly changed the title of this film from Fighter to Liger. Liger is a hybrid offspring of a male lion and a female tiger. He also added a tagline that says Saala Crossbreed underneath the title. This poster showcases Vijay in the action mode ready to punch with vengeance filled eyes and a curly mop.
Vishnu Sharma is handling the camera duties to Liger which will be released in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, and Hindi simultaneously. Vijay needs a hit desperately as his previous outings Dear Comrade and World Famous Lover bombed at the box office. He is sure that Puri Jagannadh will gift him one with his iSmart form!
